Columbia State Welcomes The Great DuBois to the First Farmers Performance Series

Columbia State Community College welcomes The Great DuBois to the Cherry Theater on October 19 as part of the First Farmers Performance Series.

The Great DuBois is a fast-paced, high energy circus show for all ages showcasing incredible feats of juggling, hula hoops, unicycle, aerial, circus stunts, contortion, magic and audience interaction all wrapped up in a blanket of comedy. Simply put, this is the most unique two-person circus show you will ever see!

Recently featured in Hugh Jackman’s movie, “The Greatest Showman,” The Great DuBois have amassed an impressive list of credits, including appearances in the Tony Award-winning “Pippin” on Broadway, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with David Letterman,” Britney Spears World Circus Tour and the movie “Burlesque,” to highlight just a few. 

The award-winning combination of Michael DuBois and Viktoria Grimmy have five generations of circus performing between them, and have wowed crowds at countless shows at theatres, universities, cruise ships, fairs and festivals all over the world.

“We are so excited to bring The Great DuBois, a fun and fabulous two-person circus team, to our community!” said Tammy Rosson, Columbia State director of events and alumni relations. “With free and convenient parking as well as a free art exhibition in the Pryor Art Gallery before the performance, the evening will be a special one for all ages!”

On the night of the performance, the box office opens at 6 p.m. in the Kenneth and Ramona Cherry Theater, located in the Waymon L. Hickman Building on the Columbia Campus. Theater doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. The Columbia Campus is located at 1665 Hampshire Pike in Columbia.
