Columbia State presents The Irish Gift and Sacred Space
(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Oct. 16, 2017) - - - Columbia State Community College presents The Irish Gift and Sacred Space Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Ledbetter Auditorium.
"This is a wonderful performance of Irish music," said Dr. Erin Kealey, Columbia State assistant professor of philosophy. "The East Galway tradition is intercut with readings and reflections on sacred space - it will be an enchanting evening of music and literature."

Mark Hilliard will read from his latest manuscript "The Crow's Enchanted Dance," and will provide dialog about the role of mystery, enchantment and the imagination in encountering sacred place and space.
This event is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by the Columbia State Lyceum Committee, Department of Philosophy and the offices of Student Affairs and Access and Diversity.
