Columbia State Vet Tech Students Host Doggie Spa Day
(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - August 24, 2015) - - - Columbia State Community College's veterinary technology students invite all dogs to enjoy a spa day Saturday, Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As the dogs enjoy their spa experience, they will be treated to a variety of services. The doggie shampoo service is priced to the size of the individual pooch, and all baths include wash, blow dry and good brushing. Pricing is:
- $5 - small dogs
- $8 - medium pooches
- $10 - large pups
- $15 - extra-large fur babies
Other services include a nail trim for $5, an ear cleaning for $4, and anal gland expression for $5. For the pampered pooch, the package deal includes wash, nail trim, ear cleaning, optional spritz of perfume, and doggie treats. Package pricing is $15 for small and medium dogs, and $20 for large and extra-large dogs.
All dogs will receive a complimentary bandana or bow with their bath. Due to the lack of industrial dryers, all dogs may not be completely dry.
All proceeds from the doggie spa day support the activities of Columbia State vet tech students. Grooming will take place in the Health Sciences Building on the Columbia Campus, located at 1665 Hampshire Pike.
