UNITED STATES: MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONISTS NEEDED
(Columbia, Tenn. - February 23, 2011) - - - According to the United States Department of Labor, medical occupations are projected to grow faster than the average for many other occupations through 2016. Columbia State Community College's Economic and Workforce Development office will hold a free information session on Tuesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. on the Columbia campus in the Waymon L. Hickman Building, room 123.
"This growth is fueled by increased demand for health services from an aging population and the continued need for electronic documentation of records," said Ron Beck, Executive Director of Economic and Workforce Development at Columbia State. "During a time when plenty of folks may be looking for a new career, Columbia State's Economic and Workforce Development department is offering training in Online Medical Transcription and Online Medical Coding to help meet the demand."
The session will feature more about Online Medical Transcription and Online Medical Coding. While there is no charge for this session, call (931) 540-2660 to pre-register.
