(Columbia, TN - May 12, 2011) - Do you enjoy helping people? Training is available to help you turn that enjoyment of people into a job as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Columbia State Community College's Center for Economic and Workforce Development will be conducting a CNA training class at the Wayne County Technology Center during on June 1-3 and 6-14, (8 hours per day).

As a CNA you will be involved in patient care in hospitals, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, nursing homes and mental health facilities. Some also assist patients at their residences. The work can also involve assisting other nurses such as in collecting vital signs, communication with nurses about pertinent patient information, etc.
