Annual James R. Moon Golf Tournament a Success
(Columbia, Tenn. - June 21, 2011) - - - More than 30 teams participated in the 15th annual James R. Moon Columbia State Foundation Golf Classic which was held at the Saddle Creek Golf Club in Lewisburg on Thursday, June 9. More than $17,000 was raised for scholarships during the event.
"Once again the Lewisburg community has supported the Columbia State Foundation James R. Moon Golf Tournament by participating in this 15th annual event," said Elizabeth McDow, Columbia State's Lewisburg Campus director. "I would also like to express my sincerest thanks to the committee members who diligently served on this committee over the past 15 years, making this fundraiser more successful year after year."
Championship Flight
First place winner in the championship flight was Lewisburg Printing, team of Rob Zimmerman, Scott Tepedino, Michael Tepedino and Kirk Kelso.
First Flight
First Place winner in the first flight was the Lewisburg Industrial and Welding, team of Brian Scott, Ronald Neil, Todd Aurtry and Al Henderson.
Second Flight
First place winner in the second flight was Teledyne #1, team of Greg Carter, Brad Bradley, Logan Lovvorn and Tracy Kilpatrick.
