Criteria for Honors Designation: Transcript

Classes with Honors components will grant grades A-F, pending completion of the class requirements. If they do not complete their projects or work, then they will still have an honors designation on the class taken, but the grade will reflect the effort exerted.

In order to earn an overall degree with honors at Columbia State, the student must complete the following:

  1. The student must conclude their Columbia career with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
  2. The student must complete 15 hours or more of courses with Honors designations with a grade of B or higher in each course.
  3. The student will participate in at least one honors exhibition night during the course of their Columbia career (clause active only after Fall 2021).
