Workshop Overview: Game Design in Unity: Building 3D Virtual Worlds is designed for aspiring game developers with a passion for creativity and technology. This beginner-friendly workshop requires no prior programming experience, making it accessible to students of all levels.
Under the guidance of experienced instructor Ryan Moore, participants will dive into the fundamentals of Unity and learn to craft immersive 3D virtual worlds. From conceptualization to execution, students will explore optimization techniques, integrate sounds and animations, and bring their game ideas to life in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Who Should Attend: Intended for rising 6th through 8th graders, this workshop welcomes students who are eager to unleash their creativity and delve into the world of game design. Whether your child dreams of creating the next big video game or simply enjoys experimenting with technology, Game Design in Unity offers a unique opportunity to turn imagination into reality.
What to Bring: To ensure a productive learning experience, students should bring a water bottle, lunch, and a drink daily. Additionally, please remember to bring a 20 GB USB flash drive daily for saving and transferring project files.
